Which platforms can I advertise on?
Guten Ads builds real Google Search ads and Facebook & Instagram (Meta) ads — pick one or run both from a single guided flow.
Do I write my own ad, or does AI?
You write it. A dedicated step lets you type your own headlines, descriptions and Meta copy with live character counters and a real-time mockup, so nothing is auto-inserted into your ad. If you connect your own AI key, you can also generate a starting draft and market research to work from.
What does the AI market research do?
When you connect your own OpenAI or Anthropic key, the research step reads your actual website content and researches your market and competitors, then produces a grounded brief (audience, keywords, angles, image concept) that feeds the rest of the wizard.
Can it create ad images?
Yes. With a connected OpenAI key it generates a photorealistic ad image from your research and brand colours, or you can upload your own image. A built-in studio lets you crop, add your logo and place headline/text overlays by dragging them anywhere. (OpenAI's best image model requires a one-time organization verification on your OpenAI account.)
Can I A/B test my ads?
Yes. For Meta you can add multiple copy versions (and even different images per version); each runs as its own ad so the platform can favour the best performer.
Is my progress saved if I refresh?
Yes. The ad builder auto-saves your work in your browser, so an accidental refresh won't lose it. Clicking “Create Ad” asks before starting a fresh one so you never discard a draft by accident.
Can I explore without paying?
Yes. Demo Mode lets you explore the full app, build campaigns, and view analytics with realistic dummy data — no credit card required.
How do live campaigns get deployed?
Nothing goes live without your confirmation. A validation (dry run) runs first, then the campaign is created PAUSED in your own connected Google/Meta account so you can review it before enabling it.
When am I charged for ad spend?
Never through Guten Ads directly. Ad spend is billed by Google or Meta on your own connected ad accounts, and only after you explicitly confirm a live launch.
Is the pricing final, and can I cancel?
